Pie Day

So today was Pie day.

It was also the day Andrew--excuse me, Elder Pehrson reported to the MTC.

The family drove to Provo in the morning and came to my (Z's) apartment where we all ate waffles, played some Authors, and took lots of pictures as Elder Pehrson got more and more nervous the closer we got to one o'clock.

Hubby and I had class at one, so we said goodbye at the apartment, waved farewell, and walked to campus as the rest of the family drove Andrew-Elder Pehrson, excuse me...up to the MTC.

The way it works up there these days is you drive to a drop-off point, unload your missionary and his bags, give him a hug, and then he's gone.

He's gone, but it's for a good reason.

We love you, Elder Pehrson, and we wish you the best! All our prayers are with you.
